Split research, draft, and review — even in one chat

Do not let one AI pass invent the numbers it later “validates.” Separate research, draft, and review steps.

Pick one work item you're dealing with. Write three lines: (1) a research prompt (2) a draft prompt (3) a review prompt that can't invent new metrics. You're done when you've marked which of these three steps you usually skip today.

Worked example

Here's a solid workplace pattern: gather sources and facts first, then draft, then run a separate review pass that checks the claims. You can do this with three simple prompts or chat turns — no special agent product needed. And you still own publish and send.
