Open Word, Docs, Excel, or Sheets — whichever you use at work. If Copilot or Gemini is available, open the in-app AI panel; if not, write out the steps you'd use once you're licensed. Ask it to rewrite or summarize a non-sensitive paragraph. You're done when you've written your one-line rule (12 words or less) for when in-app AI beats pasting into chat — and confirmed you didn't paste any client data or PII into a consumer tool.
