Write 3 tasks from your job where you would NOT use AI, and one line each on why (can't verify / stakes / the thinking is the work). You're done when at least one entry surprises the version of you from a month ago.

When NOT to use AI at all
Some tasks — final legal wording, personnel decisions, anything you can't verify — are wrong for AI regardless of tool quality.
Worked example
Tool selection includes the null option. Bad AI tasks share a shape: you can't verify the output, the stakes are personal or legal, or the value is in the struggle (like writing you need to think through). Knowing when to close the tab is a competency.
